Training for Life
Training for Life is a group class focused on what everyone wants to be able to do in their last decade of life. How do you see yourself in your last decade of life? Having the same mental and physical capacity you have at this moment would be nice, right?!
We have all chosen goals like a 5k, hikes, or events like a wedding or vacation to prepare for…what if you train with the focus being your last decade? Would you stick to working out on a regular basis if the activities had such importance like opening jars, being able to sit on the ground, or even get up off the ground, to have strong bones and the ability to continue to remember all the things we have to accomplish in our day? T4L is a group exercise class with the focus on mobility, strength for bones, wrist and grip strength, ankle, feet and toe function, balance and memory. All the things we should be training to help us live a long and able life…all the way into our last decade.
T4L is for anyone, in any decade of life, realizing the importance of these factors. It can be a comfortable setting to improve your ability, as well a compliment to Crossfit, HIT, or any sport that needs you to stay balanced and healthy for.
T4L class schedule is coming soon. Class is 45 minutes. I encourage everyone to arrive 15 minutes early to prepare for class and visit with their classmates. Also, Camellia offers a great side walk to walk, so maybe stay after class for a walk or run with your classmates.
